Groaning Grey Agony is trying to get more people into this thing called the "Writeoff":

It's a fictional writing contest site. You get a few days to write something short like a poem or story within a few days of a voted prompt. Everyone is anonymous during it and people vote on the the winner. Helpful if you want to work on you writing skills and there's a score board as well. While I've been doing mostly the poems for a year or so, there are FimFic related events. Ponies!
