Greetings, everyone! This is Mr. J back with more The Owl House content! This evening, I will be reviewing the fourth episode of the series “The Intruder”. Honestly, this isn’t one of my favorite episodes of this season although it was definitely intriguing more or less. In fact, we get to see more of Eda’s character albeit in a rather disturbing way. There really isn’t much to say about this episode, so I will keep it short and to the point.

I thought it was quite heartbreaking that we see Eda in her cursed form that takes control of her mind and body and transforms her into a complete owl-like monster. Although Luz and King mistook it for an intruder at first, they later realize it was none other than their friend Eda. As the season progresses further, you will find out how she got cursed in the first place.

But the other thing I particularly liked about this episode was King learning his lesson about not taking a rash action that will put someone at a disadvantage. Just because some people may not take interest in you or take you seriously doesn’t mean you should scheme deceptive ways to make them take interest in you or the things that you do. To be honest, King reminds me of Spike from MLP: FIM. They are both little sidekicks who don’t get too much appreciation for what they do. It makes me like King a lot more because of that.

In conclusion, this wasn’t a great episode per say but it was still pretty good by season one standards. The voice acting is great, the animation is still amazing, and the plot is straightforward. So I’ll give it a B!

Peace!
