Not an Alicorn

What the hay, as long as I’m figuring out blogs I might as well post this as well. I’m not an alicorn. Yes, my profile picture does look like an alicorn, and yes that is my ponysona. But she is not an alicorn.
“Then what is she?” you may ask.
Well, the answer is: a pegacorn.
“Well then, what’s a pegacorn?” you may wonder.
I’m glad you asked. Pegacorns are half unicorn, half pegasus with the defining features of each. This means it is like an alicorn appearance-wise, but with no earth pony magic whatsoever. They have nerfed pegasus magic and unicorn magic. The exeption is in their cutie-mark talent, an area in which they will excel regardless, just like any other pony.
For Ravensong Rose, this means she can both fly and stand on clouds, but no weather magic or ability to manipulate said clouds in any way. Her unicorn magic is also that of a weaker unicorn, unless she practices to make it as strong as a normal unicorn. The exception, as stated earlier, is whenever she is invoking her special talent. Then, and only then, it is as strong as an alicorn. She can also take the abilities she learns/uses for her special talent frequently and apply them to other situations at the strength of a normal or above-avarage pony.
