"Where the hay have you been?"

Wow. I think the continents were a little closer together the last time I updated, weren't they?

So. Yeah. Between schoolwork, Skyrim, and--well, generally puttering about like a wastrel, I'm ashamed to admit--I've had very little time to work on and tidy up Corvus. For anyone who's been sticking around to check up on updates, you're good people and you should feel good.

ANYWAY

Christmas break is about to start up in this neck of the woods, and I'm still looking forward to continuing this story. I'd like to get in at least two more chapters before next semester starts up again. The plan is to transition into a more episodic format; the underlying arc will still be there, but future chapters are going to be largely stand-alone. As always, I encourage you all to take a look at what I've written and just pick it apart as much as you please in the comment section. Having to be my own proofreader or a prereader is a fair-sized reason it takes so long for me to update.

By the way, if anybrony's interested to find out what inspired this fanfic, check out this six-part OVA called Karas. I wouldn't recommend it for younger audiences (though let's be honest, has that line ever stopped anyone before?), because it does get pretty bloody, especially towards the end. But Karas has some of the most spectacular animation I've ever seen in 2-D or 3-D. In some ways, it may even surpass Pixar's work, which as an animation geek is something I don't say every day.
