I owe you all an apology

Ignore that last blog post, I accidentally hit 'enter' while entering that last blog post, and it won't let me delete it.

Hey all, me again.

I just want to begin this blog post with another massive apology in regards to my lack of any writing being produced on my part. I kept saying I'd get that rewrite of Corrupted done, and I'd move on to something better and more interesting, but I didn't, and there's no one to blame but myself, and I'm truly sorry for not only that, but also my lack of letting you guys know what was actually going on too.

Now, I'm aware of how I constantly kept saying that I wanted to do the rewrite of chapter 1 of Corrupted before moving on to the other stories I have planned, and I still fully intend on doing that someday, but I've made a new decision. Corrupted as a whole has been holding me back from truly improving, and if I'm to make any decent progress on this site, I need to pull my shit together, and release something new ASAP, and that's what's going to happen. New stories > old crap.

Now, don't be thinking I'll be releasing anything any time soon. I haven't even undergone any proper planning for those stories yet, so it's gonna take a while. Plus, school is taking up a lot of my free time. I just came out of six full days of exams today, and there's still a lot of work to be done for the rest of this term, but I assure you, when the time is right, I will start writing again, and I'll be damned if I don't put some serious blood, sweat, and tears into this. To me, Corrupted wasn't good enough, and I don't think it deserves the praise it got, but from the criticism I received from that story, I now think I'm aware of what it takes to write a decent story, and I want to put that knowledge to good use.

So yeah, I think things are finally looking up again, and I mean it this time. We won't see any updates in regards to Corrupted for a while, but realistically, I don't think anyone cares about that story anyway, so I doubt putting it on hold will do any harm.

Once again, I thank all of you so much for not murdering me, and I promise that I will make it up to you all for having to wait this long.
