Quality over quantity · 9:33am Dec 5th, 2012
I don't know why exactly, but creative writing is something I love but at the same time also hate. Words do not come to me easily. Even though I'm always looking up definitions, my vocabulary feels pretty limited. When it comes to describing something, it can literally take hours for me to write a few paragraphs. Because of this, my stories tend to be very short. But sometimes it's just good to get something into text form, even if it does take an incredible amount of effort. If I were to write an informational text, I would probably be able to write it a lot faster.
Every paragraph, every sentence, every word is like a brushstroke towards a fine art painting. I plan and mull over every detail to make sure it sounds exactly the way I want it to. I want it to be perfect. Sometimes I wish I could write faster so I could get more down, but I seem to value quality over quantity when it comes to writing.
True dat. I can't wait for more updates :D
