June 11th brought hope for the future and remorse from the past. Standing where we once stood when times were different was eerie. Didn’t seem real at all. Only took a trip to do some cleaning as a nice gesture, but cleaning was not on my mind. Taking place just looking at the hills again was hard. If I wasn’t rushed, I would have stayed there and waited for some closure or calmness of some sort. Maybe when I go back it will be more lifelike. When you see the views, think of me. Or don’t. I’m not sure where we stand. But I know it’s far apart.
