Books are for Squares · 3:37pm Dec 3rd, 2012
So currently, I am sitting here in a silent World Literature and Composition class during free read time, with a copy of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo uselessly open in front of me. I have to wonder, why can't I just read My Little Pony fan fiction instead?
According to goodreads.com the book I have chosen for free reading is roughly 116,250 words. Now, A Sweet Taste of Cake by The Descendant is 108,789 words currently, which is roughly 8,000 words less than the boom I have to read for class. And Past Sins by Pen Stroke is currently 202,691 words. Why can't I just read them?! Because I'd have to read it on my phone? Or because it's about a 'children's show'? Oh how I wish I had purchased a hard copy of Past Sins.
Well, now that I have successfully complained and proven my point, I suppose I should get back to reading...
