Alright People and Ponies,
I hate to say this, but updates to my stories (To Love The Moon and Luna's Daughter) are going to have to wait a little longer. I downloaded and installed the newest feature update on my main computer about an hour and a half ago . . . only for it to immediately crash. I spent the time between then and now trying everything I could think of to solve the problem, but nothing worked. This new update has f@#ked up my desktop so badly that the log in screen won't even come up.
Fortunately, I have a back up computer (a laptop) with the beginnings of both new chapters saved on it. I was planning to wait until the new chapters were finished before saving a copy on this computer . . . Oh well. Live and learn, I guess.
I am about to start working on the next chapter of Luna's Daughter all over again . . . just in case the geeks of Geek Squad tell me that there is no way to recover anything. Thankfully, I still remember most of what I had written over the last few weeks.
That said, I do have an appointment with Geek Squad tomorrow afternoon. If they can't recover the data . . . well, I will have lost about a month and a half's work on both stories.
I will post an update to this thread when I know more.
***UPDATE***
The geeks at Geek Squad told me that there was a corrupted file in the feature update . . . and that totally F$%ked up my Operating System. Fortunately, they said that they should be able to fix the problem. They should even be able to save my files . . . fingers crossed. I will find out for sure in 3 days.
Dude it's fine your stories are great so I can wait for both to update I wait for other too as well take your time and hope your computer will be fine

I'm sorry for the delayed response. I have just been busy. My truck has been in the shop for almost a week (fingers crossed that I get it back tomorrow), I am preparing for my honeymoon (It is finally happening after almost two years . . . thanks, COVID!) and in a lot of pain due to weather changes and a strained muscle in my side . . . fun times.
Don't worry. I haven't forgotten about my stories. I have been working on the next chapter of Luna's Daughter whenever I have a spare moment.
