About A Star in the North, my previous plans, and the Now.

Alright, so admittedly, when I started A Star in the North, I was in the middle of my Senior Year of High school. I already had a lot on my plate and tbh, it was doomed to fail from the beginning. I had a lot of things to juggle my senior year, between JROTC, my core classes, which included stupidly trying to do English online. As well as out of school things like daily chores (I lived on a huge

    Whelp.

So as I'm sure the few people that actually look at my posts have noticed, I didn't keep my promise on updating A Star in the North. I do apologize, but honestly the spark for that story kind a just left. I may consider continuing it one day but it is uncertain. I've placed it as on hiatus, as I don't wanna out right cancel it yet.

Where I have been since my last post in March.

Okay. So between my post in March and now a lot of stuff has happened, which are some of the reasons as to why i haven't uploaded chapter 2. So I was still in High School when I uploaded the first chapter, I was in my senior year, and to be quiet honest, things after that only started to go down hill for me. I had 4 classes in total that I went to. Which for many of you is probably gonna sound

    Still here

I do apologize for the delay on the second chapter of "A Star in the North,'" life has currently taken me for a ride and I can't do anything about it. I have no intentions of not finishing the story, and hope that I have time some where in the future to push the second chapter out.

About A Star in the North, my previous plans, and the Now. · 2:51am Apr 19th, 2021

As well as out of school things like daily chores (I lived on a huge property that required a lot of yard work), work and a number of other things.

A Star in the North was at the bottom line, an idea that i didn't put much of a plan behind. It was just an idea i got that I got really gung-ho about for like a week before I got nailed with school related issues. I really don't remember what I was going for then, and I only have a few paragraphs of the next chapter sitting somewhere. As for the fate of the story it self, I may come back to it some point in the future, maybe do a complete rewrite, but its gonna remain on hiatus, until I'm sure weather or not I want to try again with it or just out right cancel it.

Now, my previous plans, I had maybe 3 or 4 different story ideas that came out since then, and I have tried to work with them. Though really none of them I could really thing of a way to work with them, or even how to make a story from them. All of them have a rough, rough first draft siting in my Docs. I've looked over all of em and Really can not say I'm happy with any of them, nor do I have any idea if I wanna continue them. My last post, was about one of those ideas I had and I really tried to work with it but eventually gave up when I realized I had no clue how to go forward with it.

And finally, the Now. I have a story that I have been working on for the past few months on and off. Something that I am actively working on writing, planning and improving. I have a handful of chapters that I have written, and have been going through the process of looking through them and editing as I see fit. This is the first story I've gotten this far with, and have been this excited about. I wont spoil anything about it yet, nor will I even give you its name. I wont make promises, as I haven't been good at keeping them of late, but I will say when I am finally Comfortable with it, and have a decent few chapters written, edited, and finished I will announce the story.

Until then, Goodbye.
