Hello there! Here is my brief review of episode 5 Total Meltdown. This was the very episode that introduced a new super villain to this show by the name of Meltdown as the title reveals. Just like with the other super villains, I am really not a big fan of this guy. He did have an understandable reason to be vengeful against Issac Sumdac and the Autobots, and his actual design and powers look very impressive and promising.

But as for his minion—Colossus Rhodes—well, he is an okay villain. What actually amuses me is the fact that he looks like a Ben 10 villain. Hahaha, I mean, look at him! He looks like he’s from Ben 10!! Looks like some animator is a fan of that old show.

Anyway, the rest of the episode wasn’t too bad, but it still could have been a lot more interesting. Bumblebee can be a proud, egotistical bot every now and then, but at least he was able to stand up against Meltdown and defeat him with the help of his fellow Autobots. Oh, and one more thing about the antagonist. Prometheus Black had it coming to him; if he had been more careful around his own chemicals in his own laboratory, he would have never had that accident in the first place. His ego and anger drove him to this. But hey, we gotta dwindle his awareness of his surroundings so he can be a super villain I guess.

There is nothing else to say more for this episode other than it was decent and enjoyable to watch. So I rate it a C+. However, I am so looking forward to reviewing the next two episodes as they are a LOT more impactful.

See ya!

It was funny.

You what I find hilarious about this episode? This line from Meltdown.
"Just...look at me. I'm a freak! But I refuse to be beaten by some simpering nerd who merely got lucky!"
Meltdown doesn't realize how close he is to the truth.
