How do you go about reading stories?
Personally, I just sit down and look for something that looks like it wasn't made by a cliche child (I also don't like sex, but if done right/not entirely based around that then I don't mind too much). If it is easy to read and understand, I don't really mind what it's about.
I like reading something like a casual reader, not like the book editor version of Anton Ego who is always looking for mistakes and what not. This is somewhat of a blessing and a curse. The bad part about this is that I don't usually tell apart good stories from mediocre stories. The good side is that I can usually enjoy any story I read - that isn't to say I don't have preferences and favorites, of course.
But that's just how I function with reading. What about you? What do you like reading? What makes or breaks something in your opinion? Do let me know!

Yeah, I'm the complete opposite. Whenever I find one grammer mistake in a story I'm like "If there's one mistake, there's bound to be more" but that's only if it's really bad and makes the whole fic confusing.

Agreed. Although from personal experience those kinds of stories immediately give off a vibe that warns you to not read it.
Yeah but sometimes the summery gives off such an interesting idea that I really want to read only to be disappointed from the execution.

Very true.
