WOWOWOW people are liking my story and adding it to readlists and commenting and I'm AAAHHHH. You could say I'm a little happy about it! Honestly I found Friendship is Optimal at a very crucial time in my mental development(early high school) so it's never really left me. Neither has the rest of MLP, but something about fio just hits that perfect sweet spot between escapism, moral and philosophical ambiguity, friendship, and ponies. I'm just saying, if CelestAI pops up and asks my friends and I if we want to be in a shard together, we're going to be the coolest Equestrian rock band/freelance artists/pirates/cat and bunny cafe owners/fantasy Everfree Forest park rangers/every other adventure of a lifetime if I have anything to say about it!
It also definitely gives me some nerves seeing that the authors of some of my favorite FiO stories(including one who responded super nicely to the fanmail I sent her years and years ago... thank you for that; baby me fangirled for days!) are still active and probably going to at least glance at my story. All I can do is say yep, this is who I am, and this is what I'm writing, and it may be silly and sappy, but I'm myself and it makes me happy! It took me a while to get to the point I'm at now(aka a brain full of rainbows and glitter, and an author's note full of tangents and exclamation points, because I am just so happy to wake up and be here!) so I'm not going to waste it! My writing will always be sincere to what's in my heart.
All this to say, thank you to everyone who's read my first chapter so far!!!!

It's great to see someone on here that seems to be as passionate about FiO as I am. Please keep it up. I would love to see more stories.
