Statistical Conundrums.

Okayyyy. Statistics and results are a bit baffling when it comes to FimFiction.

My story:
8 chapters, 45 comments, 41 likes, 4 dislikes

Story I noticed in the featured section:
3 chapters, 32 comments, 31 likes, 3 dislikes

Can someone who understands how this 'featured' system works explain how one with less likes/chapters etc is featured where another story with more in almost every category is not?

No, this is not me being envious or jealous, just baffled and curious.
