Let the Writing Commence!

One guess for what the title means, the prize? Satisfaction for getting it right! Anyway, as I’m sure you can tell, this means I’ve started writing The Abyssinian Trader, though it’s still in the very early stages. Though I do suppose I can elaborate a bit on it: taking place before the main show, the story will follow an Abyssinian (and his maybe companions) as he try’s to build a life in Equestria. Along the way he’ll encounter certain characters from their time before the show, explore new environments, and have to dodge a tenacious pursuer, who’s after a certain artifact in the Abyssinian’s possession (hint, it involves windigos). Things may or may not get more elaborate from there, as the story isn’t set in stone yet.
