Aaron Thattchir II: Part One · 3:41am Aug 8th, 2020

The Temple of Raema, a homage to a near dead culture sat atop a mountain in the Kingdom of Xou. Inside lived the Vo-Shun, Warrior Monks that train for years to use their blades to control elements. Among these was Aaron Thattchir, a man who had come there a mere ten years earlier. His short black beard was now long and dark gray, his guns long unused. He awoke one night with a dream that he could not explain, so he went to Han, the leader of the temple, a man of 103 years of age.

He told him that a great evil rose in a distant place known as "Fah She Gin", and that he would have to destroy it. It was known in the common tongue as The Holy East. Aaron grabbed his weapons, his black iron breastplate, his black trenchcoat, and hat, and his flame bladed sword, and set off down the mountain. He managed to stow on a boat heading to South Equestria, he landed in Sherwin and managed to find a caravan of traders on their way to the Grand Duchy of Orivia that would be passing through the Holy East. Aaron managed to join as a guard for the caravan.

They traveled for months until they reached the border of the Holy East. The Holy East was a massive swath of land with one large city in the middle and numerous smaller homesteads and villages scattered around. The central city was Ferioma, ruled by High Priest Kilerian IV. The Holy East was the site of the Verinnian Religion, an ancient polytheistic religion from the northern continent of Dagos. They were allowed to just walk right in since they had no real border. They reached the first village and Aaron left the village to a nearby Nordic style altar.

This altar had the face of one of their many gods with an opening in its mouth where a fire could be lit. Aaron grabbed some pine straw laying at the edge of a nearby forest, tossed it in, and lit a match. He had done this in hopes of gaining some form of guidance on his journey to find this great evil that he was to destroy. As the fire grew, a great cloud formed overhead and a being descended from the sky, Pentonaxtus had returned.

Aaron stood in shock and disbelief before coming to his senses and drawing both his revolvers and firing upon the being, Pentonaxtus drew out her black blade and blocked every shot, with a quick blast of magic, she was able to send Aaron across time and space to earth, in Louisville Kentucky.
