Unfortunate news...

Hey y'all! It's been a while since I logged in here. Life has thrown me and my family a curveball for the first 4 months of 2024. As the title suggests, I regret to inform my friends and followers here that my mom passed away on April 9, 2024 at the age of 65 due to stage 4 non-smoker lung cancer. I'm going to tell you what happened to her in another blog.

I can imagine the outrage on the Internet if Jeff Bennett providing the voice of Raj in Camp Lazlo exists in today's time.

Belated happy 2nd anniversary to Ruby and Sapphire · 10:42am Jul 20th, 2020

Dammit, I completely forgot about this! Anyway, it's been 2 years since the premiere of the most epic and intense episode of Steven Universe season 5, Reunited. Aside from the badass battle between the Crystal Gems and the Diamonds, 2 weeks ago (July 6) marked the 2nd anniversary of the wedding of Ruby and Sapphire, making the show the first ever animated series to feature same-sex marriage.

The proposal in the episode, The Question, was absolutely heartwarming and I can't help but feel overjoyed that this show is inclusive of characters that everyone can relate to. Also, it's a genius move that the Crewniverse made Ruby wear a wedding dress and Sapphire wear a tuxedo as a way to give the middle finger to those who censored Ruby with a mustache.
