Important Announcement: I have a YouTube channel · 4:58pm Jun 13th, 2020
Hi, guys. The new story isn't ready. I find it hard to be motivated to write these days. I'm not even feeling well today in general. But I'm here to announce something different: I have a YouTube channel.
It's not MLP-related. Mostly I've been using it to do Let's Plays. I've had it since late last year. I guess I was just shy about sharing it on here. I'm not sure how many people here would care. I still don't.
And, to be honest, while I do enjoy playing the games, the reason I made this channel is far more practical. I want to one day be able to monetize videos. I need a little extra money to support myself. Regular work has never come easily for me due to my disabilities and problems, even before everything else going on, and this sort of thing seemed the best, and perhaps only real option for me. I'm not aiming to get rich or anything, but a little something would be extremely helpful.
Of course, getting videos monetized is a lot harder these days than it used to be. Now you need a minimum of 1,000 subscribers and a certain amount of watch time per year. I only just got 13 subs. Plus, small, obscure channels like mine are swarmed by bots, who can even subscribe to your channel, and I'm pretty sure a few of mine are bots. It's very disheartening.
Which is why I finally decided to post something here. I really don't know how many of my watchers might care to watch my videos, barely anyone actually does. But I'd like the help, so I'm asking. Right now I'm working on Epic Battle Fantasy 5 Version 2.0, and Persona 5 Royal, and I have some old stuff that I moved to Daily Motion. I've been working really hard on all of it, and I can only hope it's entertaining.
So if you like those games, you're curious, or you want to help me out, please visit my channel and consider subscribing. I'm Emerald Lupin.
Hope to see some of you there!
