how i became a brony

The personal event I chose to write about is when I came across the show My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. I was on YouTube on my iPod touch, I was reading the comment s of a video, and I saw the word Brony. I didn’t know what it was at the time, so I googled the term ‘brony’ and something called My Little Pony Friendship is Magic came up and I clicked on it and I thought “what could this be?” as I opened the link, a purple unicorn popped up and said “Hello my name is Twilight Sparkle’, this is the magical land of Equestria” I thought to myself “what the hay am I watching? I realized something I actually liked it.
I searched more pony stuff. I noticed the creators name was Lauren Faust, she had worked on other shows like fosters home for imaginary friends and the powerpuff girls. So I watched an episode of mlp fim (my little pony friendship is magic) season 1 episode 1 the elements of harmony part ½ and part 2/2. As I was watching, I thought to myself why am I watching this? As I was watching the episodes I found out about the other five characters their names are Rarity, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie. Rarity is a white unicorn pony who represents the element of generosity; Applejack, is an orange earth pony who represents the element of honesty; Rainbow Dash, is a sky blue Pegasus pony who represents the element of loyalty; and Fluttershy, is a light yellow Pegasus pony who represents the element of kindness; and Pinkie Pie, is a pink earth pony who represents the element of laughter; and last but not least Twilight Sparkle, she is a purple unicorn pony who represents the element of magic.
I am drawn to these characters because pinkie pie is so random , she sometimes break the fourth wall way to much, Rainbow Dash sees herself as awesome, Applejack gets the job done, Fluttershy takes care of animals, Rarity can be a bit unreasonable but she knows how to be stylish, Twilight Sparkle is something I lack which is organizational skills. That is why I am drawn to these characters.
I saw that my friend posted a video of mlp fim with audio from SpongeBob square pants and I watched it, the video was a clip from the show. I enjoyed it so much that I became hooked on it. I decided to learn about the 5 stages of brony development, first step is rejection; second step is hate third step is giving it a chance (I hated it at first); fourth step is denial the fifth step is acceptance (I really loved it).
Now I know what a brony is and why I like it so much.
