My Personal Story and Introduction

Hello I am Ian Haverkamp, or also known under my alias: Aragnoth
I am a 15 year old Teenager living in the Netherlands.
Before i became a brony my other hobby's where (and still are):

-Gaming
-Anime
-Being a Movie Critic
-Writing (in Dutch though)

But in Early October This Year a very good friend and i already knew about the MLP Madness but never payed that much attention to it, we didn't hate on the community or something like that, we just found it funny. But i watched a Youtuber named ''JoshScorcher'' also known as ''Commander Firebrand'' in the Brony community, and at one moment he began Reviewing Some of the MLP Season Pilots and Finals, and watching those reviews i slowly got interested, And a week later i said to my friend that we should watch the show for well.... Shit's and Giggles, and well first time seeing it it was insane, especially the Pinkie Pie cartoon Logic, so we watched every episode together and we enjoyed the show for what it was, The Writing, Memorable Characters, the ''Good'' kind of Fan Service thanks to great feedback from the community, And of Course the Animaton which is the best i have ever seen in a cartoon. And after we finished watching all episodes with so much joy, i had not realized it yet,
but i was a Brony.

At first i was pretty harsh on the show though as i always am when i am watching a movie, or something else. But even than, it has it's mistakes, not every episode is great, not all characters are perfect, But the thing that made the show great for me is its Light Hearted Spirit, The kind of innocence that makes you a child again, And i can only grap 1 other example for that which is Spongebob Squarepants ;p
But i am Getting off track here.

So my friend and i enjoyed the show for all the things i said above and finished watching the show at the end of october, and with Season 3's release at 10 November my attention to the show did not go away after i finished the show, and that was the moment i realised i was a brony.

And from that moment i started getting in to the fandom, Discovering sites like ''Equestria Daily'' and Radio stations like ''Celestia Radio'', I also started reading some FanFics, Reading the stories like ''My Little Dashie'' and ''The Immortal Game'', And i am still amazed by what this fandom can do, An example: Not a long time ago ''Celestia Radio'' had a DJ Marathon to raise money for a very young girl that was suffering from brain cancer, and after the week they had raised over 1K Dollars
and that is not something every fandom would do.

But in the end i am happy that i found this show and the great fandom that comes with it, and i am proud to say that i am a BRONY!
