VSatM IS IN DANGER

It's been over a month since I gave you the beginning to a crossover nobody could see coming, but with current developments having been thrust onto me today it looks like you might never see it unfold.
Why? A few reasons.
Firstly, one of many reasons I began writing this in the first place was to make Monstercat that little bit more popular. What better way to do that than get it featured on EqD? Unfortunately, it slipped my mind that EqD won't feature Brony In Equestria stories. While the most interest my human characters will have in the show is a fond opinion and a mild interest, I'm well aware that that's enough to get you labeled as a brony in the eyes of most people.
Even though it shouldn't be.
Secondly, I've heard a rumour that Monstercat does not listen to most of the demos submitted to them. For a label that prides itself on scouting out and showcasing undiscovered talent, this is very unwelcome news. While it's just a rumour at this stage, it's a fact that their latest album, Conquest, was the first in the label's history that didn't feature the debut of a new artist. Troubling.
Thirdly, Ephixa, who I can confirm is one of the three artists that would have journeyed to Equestria in my fic, might not be a Monstercat artist by the end of the year. Despite being one of their top-selling artists, practically responsible for Monstercat's inception and rise to relative fame in the first place, he's not being treated too kindly by the executives in control of the company. Until this controversy settles down, I can't continue writing a love letter to a record label that could very well go down in flames a week from now.
