Two of My Fics Got Readings!

Hey, guys; it’s Maddy here. Been a while and right now is probably a weird time since it’s 5 in the morning, but I just found something that I had to show y’all!

So, I was just on YouTube, looking for something to listen to while I chilled in bed and I was searching fic readings. And I stumble upon this!

I was in shock. Like, I was just scrolling along on my phone and I noticed the thumbnail. And then the title. And I was like, ‘wait a second’ and looked and saw my username. I could hardly believe it.

I never thought to search and see if a fic of mine had gotten a reading. Like, who would put the time and effort to do a reading of one of my silly little stories and put it on YouTube? Like, there’s plenty of more interesting stuff you could do readings of. But after I saw this, I had to check and make sure if any of my other stories got readings. And lo and behold, another one did!

I was astonished. I know there’s a bunch of fic readings, there’s a bunch of people who have had their fics read, but this is a big deal for me. It’s a big deal because I totally didn’t expect it. Life has been difficult lately and today wasn’t really an exception; but this absolutely made my day (well, it’s night, but you know). And they’re good readings too.

And the fact that people enjoyed it, especially Fallen Star. Like, I read the comments and people were so interested by it and making theories. I had honestly forgotten how good it feels to see that people appreciate my work. That they like what I’ve created. Such a simple thing, but a simple thing I needed to feel.
