Announcing a new story!

Publishing a new story -- "The tale of the Spy".

The idea has been there ever since August of 2016... Yeah, taken a lot of time to take its shape . Originally I imagined a whole different race to exist either in, or outside of Equestria. They were somewhat hostile to ponies (well... they would kidnap a pony and use him/her as they wished...). There was nothing extreme or inappropriate -- well, beside some unhealthy tickling obsession... But eventually I have decided not to focus the story on it, so don't expect a tickle fic . However tickling is torturing, and ponies don't like it... so-o-o... For drama's sake... But, again, no goofing around tickling random ponies -- this story is supposed to be serious and deep!

It's not about tickling, anyway -- it's about a creature known as the Spy (no, there is no connection to "Team fortress 2" -- although that Spy did inspire me). He's got a task to enter Equestria to steal some intelligence. The Spy has cool gear, but mastery is required to use it, so it's still not so easy to infiltrate.

Along his way he interacts with ponies (disguised) and sees, that they see him as their friend. You may have expected him to have had a soft spot in his heart... However, if that were so trivial... the tale would be your average villain-gets-reformed type of story. Mine is tagged as "Tragedy" for a reason! Indeed: the Spy is too different, he even thinks differently. His nature disallows him to be soft. However he is very responsible, I'd say, the next most responsible after Pinkie. He won't treat his "friends" like dirt or worse like a complete jerk -- even though he can't be their friend, again, due to his nature (the story explains what he is; mind, though: his race has little to nothing to do with it).

And, well, this only slows him down on his way to completing his contract. What will he do? More importantly: whatever he choose, can he stick to his choice? Believe me, this isn't going to be easy!

Now waiting for the moderators to approve... I must be honest with myself and not use the "Autoapproval" feature, until at least one story passes moderation on its way to approval, having not failed once! This should mean, I am good to post my story approved automatically!

The genie story is in progress as well -- the sixth chapter adds up to as many, as about 2000 words, though this seems quite short, don't you think?

Also Daring Do in the genie story may have referred to "The tale of the Spy" ... At least in the sense of two races, friendship and jerks... But not exactly. (No bloodsucking for sure.)
