Met Tara Strong at MCM Comic Con!

Now that I've rested after the journey back, I'm extremely happy to say I got to meet Tara Strong at MCM Comic Con in London: her first time in the UK apparently! I watched a Q&A panel with her where the announcer got her to read out different scenarios in her different voice: Twilight Sparkle being given the job of teaching dark magic at Hogwarts ("Oh, look, my cutie mark turned into devil horns!"), Bubbles being a police interrogator, Raven doing stand-up and reading deliberately terrible jokes ("What does Superman have in his drink? Just ice.") and Harley Quinn unclogging a toilet ("I'm tellin' ya, what's down there? It ain't pud'n."). It was just as hilarious as it sounds. She even signed a piece of Twilight artwork I'd drawn, so I can cross meeting her off my bucket list now.

I also got to meet Simon Pegg! Me and my brothers grew up watching the Cornetto Trilogy, Shaun of the Dead was one of the first horror films I ever saw as a kid. So getting him to autograph my Shaun of the Dead DVD was a dream come true!
