Thank You All

Well, I guess the show is coming to an end tonight. It's hard to believe that after my 6 years in the fandom, I'll no longer have Pony to watch on Saturday mornings. All good things must come to an end, I suppose.

This post probably seems pointless. Maybe it is. But I wanted to let anyone who cares to read know how much this show, but mostly importantly this fandom, mean to me. You all got me through one of the hardest times in my life. There were so many times when I thought about giving up, but each time I would come here and see you all posting and discussing and it would make it all a just a bit better. Eventually it did get better. But I wouldn't have ever gotten the chance to know that if I hadn't had you all here to support and help me through it. Regardless of whether or not we specifically interacted, just your participation in this fandom gave meaning for me. I want to thank all of you for that.

Without you all, I fairly certain I wouldn't be here any more. I really can't stress enough how grateful I am for all of you and how proud I am to call myself a member of this fandom. The show has been such a positive force in my life, and it really gave me something to look forward to during the week. And, of course, reading all the works you guys have posted was probably the most crucial part in all of this. After all, it's the reason I found the show in the first place.

Again, to reiterate, to anyone who has read this far, thank you. I'm not leaving here, and I see myself staying for a long time. Just incase some of you don't, however, I'll miss you. I hope we cross paths again and I wish you well throughout all your endeavors. The magic of friendship really is something, isn't it?
