I'm Back With A New Style

It's been about 11 months and I've decided to return to this site.

Looking back at my stuff from last year, sweet Celestia was it cringe-worthy. My story "Violet" was complete and utter hot trash and I hated how it turned out. It was extremely poorly written and the ending was rushed and needlessly cruel and depressing. My style back then was "edgy, dark, and gritty" and I realised that it wasn't the style that I was into after some time thinking about it.

Funnily enough, I'm more of a pacifist now (hence my new profile picture being the peace symbol), and I'm currently working on a new story. I don't know when I'll post the first chapter, but it'll probably be quite soon. This story will be both similar and different to "Violet". It will contain features of imprisonment and suffering, but I want to shine a lighter tone as well, with messages of hope and family included in there with a happy ending containing an optimistic and delightful moral.

I'm really not happy with how my first story turned out, but I'm not going to delete it. It'll be funny looking back on the story and seeing how terrible my writing skills were originally. I do plan to improve on my writing, and after taking pretty much a year off and evaluating things, I'm hoping to continue to write the occasional MLP related story.
