During Season 9 when hearing how Celestia and Luna will soon retire and pass the rule to Twilight and her friends, I had the idea of a story where a pony after some how hearing about Celestia and Luna's retirement, feels betrayed by two monarchs who always seemed to pass their work to others rather than doing things themselves. When that pony hears of the Tree of Harmony being destroyed by Sombra (not even learning about the Treehouse of Friendship), she decides to make a great disaster happen during the ceremony where Twilight and her friends are made the new rulers which destroys all Equestria and it's people which will be similar to the fall of Pompeii. Over the course of the final season (mainly episodes related the the season premiere, except for Uprooted since she will know nothing about the Treehouse), she watches Twilight and her friends, including the Two Sister while gathering things that will carry out her plan.
