A death battle rant that I wanted to say for all this time

Raven vs Twilight Sparkle

I'm not going to sugar coat it.

I ABSOLUTELY HATE THAT DEATH BATTLE FOR MY PERSONAL REASONS.

1. It's was the wrong outcome.

Am I the only one who think that Twilight should have destroyed raven. I've been a Raven fan for years but umm... Raven is the weakest titan ever. She can't defeat her father without outside help, she actually lost so many magic battles. Db forgot to mention that one of Raven's weakness is that she is terrible at fighting magic user. Wait.. Isn't Twilight a magic user?! Common sense that raven should have lost in the first place.

Twilight outclassed raven by a long shot.

Durability:

She tank the 4x alicorn magic by the storm king. She was at her weakest and took a magic blast that could easily move the sun at ftl. You know. The biggest object in the solar system and a star at that.

Raven is half human. She had taken blow that a ordinary human couldn't. But she will still be human durability at best and no human could ever survive a single blast of a unicorn blast. Even her soul self has been one shot more times than I can count.

Strength:

Twilight from her unicorn years, Twilight help Celestia and luna move the moon closer to terra.

Raven at her best can destroy the earth surface.

Now from that means raven is stronger right? Nope. Twilight is an alicorn now. Meaning She has a brand new level of power. Alicorn power. Alicorn are in their reality are gods among ponies. They process power unlike any unicorn. So with that being said starlight lose to raven because she is weaker than Twilight. The reason why she could stood up to twi is mostly due that she was just more experience than her. Like Celestia, she can theoretical move the sun with her own magic. Proof is by her earlier feat of moving the moon. Yes true she wasn't the one putting in the most work but it a feat raven cant do. Raven in her early years have never shown any planetary nor moon level feats. When Candace and Twilight fought a worm monster, it took one blast to force the worm monster to let go of Candace. But it Candace three blast to let go of twi. Twilight scales to Celestia, which raven is no where Celestia's power. Not even at one percent. Heck her soul self isn't as powerful as you think. It has shown to only break though walls. So how is that more powerful than being ram thru a bloody mountain? I get that sometimes non sense is the best sense. But ain't the winner is decided by having the best feats?

Abilities:

Raven being able to control emotions should be a advantage cause Twilight's magic is base on her emotions right? Yes and no. While she can but she'll mostly likely fail. First off the emotion = magic is debunked. They're saying without Twilight's positive emotions she can't cast magic, which is not true at all. Remember when discord took away Twilight's positive emotions, and yet she was pulling off a telekinesis spell to pack up her things. I thought if twi has no positive emotions then she can't use a spell at all because she's out of magic, Cause magic = spells. Clearly someone wrong. 2nd Changelings can suck up love which is a positive emotion. Twilight refuse to do that so raven couldn't take Twilight's emotions. Raven had fail the trick plenty of times. Plus in the movie she yell at pinkie while her horn sparked in ANGER, a negative emotion.

Twilight being the princess of friendship is the easiest way for her to defeat Raven since her weakness is that she'll become weak when exposed to too much positive and negative emotions. Hmm... You don't need a brain to figure out why that matters.

Experience:

Twilight combat experience is unbelievable. She was never trained for a magical battle and yet she was in a stalemate with triek who has ton of experience over twi. Ask yourself this. Celestia and luna can very well take on triek with the 4x alicorn magic. So why twi?

Raven has been defeated by magic users and been one shot more times than I can count.

Speed:

The soul self is no where near March 36. You see... They use the five minutes mark because of a weakness raven use to have from # 1 of her canon comics to # 8. Her feat of blue valley was in comic # 9. See the problem. Meaning we have no way of truly telling of its feats. At highest it would be at march 2. Lower then Twilight hypersonic speed, which is march 5 and/or higher.

Raven herself may take the cake but it wont save her.

Intelligence:

No contest... Twilight.

Overall: Twilight simply got Raven stomped. But it make sense. Twilight is a leader. She is smart and powerful. Where raven is just a medic. She may not be powerful but she can be a great teammate. In a 1v1 fight Twilight wins with or without the soul self helping raven.

2. They composite raven but not Twilight. Pretty sure that comic raven lose against comic twi and cartoon raven lose against cartoon twi. So having them both composite equal twi still winning.

3. Fan service. To please the anti bonies because they'll 100% rant if Twilight won fair and square.

Here a funny thought... If db was about entertainment then why not make alternate endings so no fandom gets pissed off? Seriously. It will give them so much props.

Why is the final mlp battle a lost? That just leaving me personally sad for the rest of my life cause our final fight is with a amazing character and lost but we cant bounce back with a win from another character? If you want to give bronies a good... "You've been great fans" a happy vibe. End it with a win. Unless its a dc vs marvel Win/lost ratio dont matter. You mad because the bronies never lost a fight is a personal problem. Its our final battle... Be happy that no more ponies would be in death battle anymore. Was my gen back then usually that screwed?

You can say that I'm a bit bias and you are partially right. But I have taken losses from death battle before. Jin vs Ryu, my boy veet vs my boy shadow, crash vs spyro, ww vs rouge, and while I still disagree but I did took the first goku vs superman. Just not the second. But these are my reason why I decided to stop being a fan of death battle. Thanks for reading. If you want to debate I'm all ear. Mind you that I'll still say Twilight should have won.
