Hi, it's me again, back after a long absence. You may remember about a year ago that I posted about a game my friend was making. That game has changed a lot since then.
We call it the Blightlands, taking place in a new world populated with all sorts of races - humans, minotaurs, spider people, aliens from (one of the) moon(s), and many many more. This setting has no gods - rather, there are the Ancients, powerful beings that have existed since time immemorial that are worshipped and followed for power and divine benefit.
Anyone can cast spells thanks to this - depending on the Ancient you follow, you gain access to a certain set of spells that can be utilized depending on how powerful you are. For example, Belladonna is the Ancient of Time and Order, and her followers actively and openly fight against the Mugen, a time traveling race known for bringing violence to whatever time they appear in. Those that follow her gain access to time magic. For example, Regress Mind is a spell that returns the mind of a target to the state it was in anywhere from a day to a year ago, depending on the strength of the caster.
I want to stress right now that this is NOT an MLP game. It is still very much a work in progress - some aspects are unfinished or are placeholders. We are actively working on this system, however, and the official Tumblr is updated constantly. If you'd like to learn more, I'll leave some links below. Hope to see you on the Discord!
