Working on New Story- Current Plans

Around the beginning of Season 2 of MLP:FiM, I made an OC with the idea that I would make a story about him. My plan was to make the character unique both in design and in personality compared to the rest of the series. Well, years have passed since then, and it looks like I have little to show for that, but I've been thinking through all the ideas I've come up with, and I have a new plan for this story.

I don't have an official name for this story yet, but the plot will span over 3 parts. It will be about a two horned pony named Duo Corniger, and how he adjusts to a new life in a town, as well as learning the magic of friendship. I don't want to share any major plot points yet, so forgive the simple and vague description so far.

What I can talk about right now is my plans for putting the story together. I've mostly been developing this on my own, but I've had a little help along the way from friends. My goal is to make a story that works in the MLP:FiM universe while including elements of my own. I will post chapter 1 whenever I get it done. I'll also make occasional blog posts explaining the new elements I add in if needed. I also welcome criticism, so if there is anything I need to look into, please let me know. I want to make this a great story!

So far, I just have a base outline of how I will write the story. I also have a lot of unfinished concept drawings, a wide collection of designs for Duo, and some written concepts about the history of two horned ponies, some spell ideas, and more.

This is my first large scale story, as well as my first MLP themed story. Despite all of this, I hope that when the first chapter comes out, someone out there finds interest in the ideas I put together.

The first chapter will be posted sometime in February/March depending on how much I got on my plate. If there is enough interest, I might even host art streams related to the story. Thanks for reading! Be back later!
