The TWE: Force-feeding knowledge into authors since 2011.

This was a little dialogue on a story flagged by the Train Wreck Explorers. Regidar explains the folly of not knowing the TWE and how we act on bad stories. This chat continued on for about 20 more comments, as kosoru failed to stop the tide of snarky comments.

If you don't know who the TWE are, then you need to look it up before they come for you.

Who are the TWE, they sound like assholes.

480732 The TWE (Train Wreck Explorers) are a group of people (including me) who go into that fanfiction. The one with the black-and-red alicorn Gary Stu OC, the one with terrible spelling, the one who's plot revolves around how awesome the main character is. We point out how the author has done wrong in his story. But we also take it one step further.

We fix it.

The thing is, most of these stories can't be saved, mostly because of the author. We offer help, advice, etc. but get nothing but silence. However, going though such terrible stories each day forms a sarcastic, snarky personality for certain members. (Redigar isn't in the group, btw.)

All in all, we are an editing group turned up to eleven.
