Why I Start So Many Projects · 10:42pm Dec 11th, 2018
Now I'm sure some of you are wondering why I start so many different projects at once. I've got two Experiments books I'm writing. I'm still working on the next chapter of The Narrater Hates Us All, I've recently began the Branwen story and a new project might be showing up in a day or two.
Why do I do this? Simple. It's a remedy for writers block.
Now let me explain. When you make a story, sometimes you think you'll never get tired of working on it. That is not true. You will only cause yourself heartache by thinking that. Thus, to prevent that, whenever I get an idea in my head, I start writing it to get it out of my system. You have no idea how many stories I've made that will probably never see the light of day. However, by doing this, I realize what stories I can write fluently, so I concentrate on those. This was, when I get tired of writing something I can simply go to something else that I hadn't finished until I'm back in the right mindset.
Now this isn't tp say I don't take breaks. It's important to revaluate yourself as often as possible. By doing this you can accomplish more.
That's all I got for you today so... stay safe... and stuff. May your days be long and... safe.
This is a brilliant idea and rather useful. A way of preparing for writer's block ahead of time.
