The new SheRa reboot review ( first few episodes) · 3:31am Dec 2nd, 2018
Ohhh boy ! So I barely remember the original SheRa . My brother and I watched He man the 80's version when we were younger ( we lived in a different Country at the time) . In fact I remember I liked the transformation of He man's tiger (who's name I can't remember now).. I heard some backlash of it I thought , 'I'll go into this blindish'. And ....It's pretty bad.
*hears mob in the distant*
I'm sorry but It is my opinion.
I mean all of isn't bad I like the interaction between Catra and Adora and the development that was good.
But Catra being all huffy about Adora being a force captain is such nonsense
Yeah dare Adora be reliable, and be good leader , you should get a promation even you're not reliable at all.
The Voice acting is soo bad, So after years of watching Anime English dubs. I have a scale of bad acting, going to Not even trying to I can't watch it anymore (*cough* 4 kids one piece dub *cough*)
I would rate SheRa bad high school play acting. You know they are trying hard but it sounds wooden. The worst offender was Shadow Weaver Good gravy! Is she suppose to be intimidating. Because her tone so wrong when she says the cliche' "Don't disappoint me" . You can the see the facail expression of Catra but it comes out wrong. The fact that her face is covered doesn't help.
SheRa design is bad she's so shiny you can't really see anything else on the screen, she need a black outline. Her outfit I'm not fan of the shorts and small skirt .
The animation isn't bad but the errors is very noticeable I mean I can see without even trying. Somehow , They messed up a background character whose hair supposed to cover his eyes. They screw that up so it looked like he has no eyes. HOW do you mess that up .
Maybe I'll try to stick with it but so far I'm not impressed.
