    You know what?

I've been peckin' at this story for over half a year, and what do I have to show for it?
    Trash.
    Garbage.
    Scraps.
I've got maybe half a chapter's worth of usable material, and it's not even the right chapter!
    So you know what?
    Screw it!
Screw Halo, I'mma write some clop.

    My New Year's Resolution

Get back to work, and get stuff done.
Especially a certain unfinished story that has been gathering dust for far too long.

    It's been a while, hasn't it?

About four and a half months, if I recall correctly. Life's been more or less 'meh' for me, but I can't really complain.

But, on to the reason I'm writing this.
Simply put, I am officially putting My Little Halo on an indefinite hiatus. I don't even have an excuse; I just haven't been writing it. Other things popped into my head, and I went wandering off after them.

    You FOOLS!

Can anyone guess why I don't like April Fool's Day?
Is it perhaps that all of my sites fritz themselves up for a day?
What about the fact that my stories all update at once with joke chapters?
Or how about some of them that update for real, forcing me to dredge through the muck to find the gems?

Seriously, who's idea was it to even have this moronic holiday?

Did Not Do The Research · 1:23am Nov 1st, 2012

For those of you wondering about, I just read this. Specifically the part about military fiction.

I admit it. I didn't research anything. I just threw it together based solely on other military fiction that I have read (which there is actually quite a bit of. 44 books and counting.). So I ask you, dear reader, Did I do a good enough job? should I keep the mistakes I made that are probably glaringly obvious to anyone with hands-on experience? Or should I overhaul the thing to fix the details?

Come on. I know you guys aren't much on talking, or reading blogs, but I need some advice here.

I would first finish the story, then go back and improve the story.
