Essential D&D TV, Movie, Book and Video game List · 6:55pm Oct 26th, 2012
First off why write about Dungeons and Dragons in a FimFic blog?
Good Question, D&D is a good way to come up with scenarios and ideas that can later be adapted to story writing.
D&D challenges their players to think creatively with in a frame-work of rules yes, but you often have to think critically and outside of the box to 'save the day'.
Also a good writer writes from what he or she knows and does not pull of this vampires who sparky in the sunlight crap like Stephine Myers (study your source material damn it).
This is not a complete listing, and feel free to add your own to the list.
The listing is also going a bit out side the normal medieval fantasy setting a bit but each title/ series apply to the core ideals of D7D
