Introduction, Help, and Future Plans

Hello, everyone who is (hopefully) reading this! I am very new to this fandom and this site, so I decided to write a post that would hopefully get me some useful feedback.

First of all, as I just said, I just joined. I have little experience writing fanfictions, and I sincerely doubt any of my ideas are very original. To that end, I gladly accept any and all critiques regarding the quality of the different elements of any stories I might be writing, and the advisability of ideas I might have, some of which I will be listing later in this post. Any comments I get, I will use as they deserve. That is to say; flames will be used for roasting marshmallows, constructive critiques will be added to the foundation of my writing skills, and praise will be used to decorate the walls in admirable places.

Also, although I consider myself to be a very good writer with better grammar than most people I know, and pretty good at preventing/spotting mistakes and typos, I am not infallible. If someone wants to be a proofreader/typo-spotter for any stories I may be writing, I would gladly welcome some help.

Now, onto my story ideas! These are stories I am planning to try and write to put on this site. Some of them are still very rough, and I would welcome some suggestions on where to go with them.

My first idea is one that I have already started, and the first chapter of which will hopefully be submitted and approved hopefully within the week. It started as me wanting some ponies from modern Equestria to see what conditions were like in my personal headcanon of Celestia and Luna’s childhood.
According to what I have currently planned, a diverse group of ponies including a pair of royal guards, a visiting oat farmer from the countryside,  and the princesses themselves get involved in a magical collision which sends them back to the time of Celestia and Luna’s childhood. There, they have to find out how they got there, and how to get back, without breaking the time-space continuum.

After I started the above story, I realised that what I really wanted was to tell the story of Celestia and Luna’s childhood, which would mean starting a completely different story, because in the time-travel version, they try to avoid filly Celestia and Luna. So, another story I want to write is about the Princesses growing up.

The last story idea is the least formed, but I wanted to throw it out here anyway. Mostly it would be something about the Mane Six and supporting cast traveling to the land of Equestria Girls to help the Mane Seven and supporting cast with some sort of really big magical menace. Before they got there, Twilight would cast a spell which would allow everyone from Equestria to keep their pony forms in the human-ish world - including Sunset. I came up with it because I wanted the two casts interacting in their own shapes, and for everyone at Canterlot High to see what Sunset’s world was like.

Well, I hope people actually read and reply to this, otherwise I’ll have felt very awkward. Here’s hoping!
