About The Pyro Class

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to play Pyro. The skill cap is extremely high, and without a solid grasp of the Phlogistinator and W+M1 Theory, most of the strategies will go over a typical player's head. There's also Pyro's Mmmph, which is deftly woven into his characterization. Pyro Mains understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these references, to realize that they're not just clever - they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Pyro truly ARE idiots - of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the wit in Pyro's existential catchphrase "Mmmph," which itself is a cryptic reference to his muffled speech. I'm Mmmphing right now just imagining one of those Scout Main simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Pyro's genius unfolds itself on their computer monitors. What fools... how I pity them.
