Thoughts on Anon-A-Miss · 10:19pm Apr 7th, 2018
I know that Anon-A-Miss has been around for a while now but thinking about it, the fics i’ve read about it have helped me through one of the tougher books of my school experience with so much ease that it was actually enjoyable for once. I speak of Shakesphere’s Othello. The two stories are quite similar, a great person from a foreign land is needed to save a town from a great invasion. After the invasion ends, someone starts rumors that start off as little more than gossip but then spreads into a great calamity and ends with everyone being hurt seriously, some more so than others. In a way, the entire EG universe up until the end of Anon-A-Miss has paralleled the world of Othello. In this way, it helped me to get through the part of reading the book and see some of the symbolism behind different parts of the story unlike I ever had been able too before. This is how MLP managed to save my English grade for an entire quarter and make my class interesting for once. Just wanted to put this out here as a neat little life story for you all.
