Greetings and Salutations #1

Hello my fellow followers and new members who are new to my page, as some of you may know, its been a while since my last update on when my new story is coming, this actually is what I'm planing on talking about today. First off, I just want say, that my attempts to make my first story were slowly lacking, the plot I was working on was to be loosely based around on the 2013 Nickelodeon adaptation of the book, Swindle, featuring my Oc as the main character and a few other friends Oc's in the story as background characters, now granted, I'm aware that Nickelodeon these days is full s**t, with the acceptation of the early episodes of SpongeBob from Season 1-4, plus some episodes of Seasons 5-6, The Loud House, the 2012-17 series of TMNT, and some of its movies, such as, Hey Arnold: The Jungle Movie, well Swindle is one of the movies I give a pass, due to most of the actors being likable, the plot line making some sense on what the Book was going for at times, and some bit of effort that went into making in. Back to what I was mentioning, in a faded attempt to make an MLP Version of Swindle, the project was canceled, due to my lack of interest in the story, a has been scraped since. This at the time, was a sign telling me to quit working on stories for FIMFiction, that was, until a friend of mine, who'll be unmentioned at this moment in time, told me about this one series that he used to watch growing up, and still to this day. This is where I will mention, the fascinating stories of the show known as, TUGS. If some of you might've been living under a rock and have no idea of what I'm referring to, TUGS is series that was created during the 80's by David Mitton and Robert D. Cardona, about a series that deals with the adventures of two anthropomorphized tugboat fleets, known as the Star Fleet and the Z-Stacks, who compete against each other in the fictional harbor, Bigg City Port. This came to attention from seeing as how there weren't as much crossover FanFictions of the show itself and there weren't as many TUGS fans on this site as hoping for. Which leads in the topic of this blog's entry on the announcement of a new FIMFiction series I'm in the process of calling, "The Equestrian TUGS: Tales of the Star Fleet." This will be an upcoming project that is surely to enlighten the unique stylings of how itself would be as an "MLP-Vized" series. Not granted, the ideal thought of something like this sounds idiotic, pompous, obscure, disgraceful, and insulting of its intention, but let me assure you that this won't be as cringeful as I promise hopefully, and this might be give you a chance to see the enlightenment of TUGS and how it changed some people, like myself, to become more in what we've have in our creative lives. As for the series here, and brace for impact on upcoming spoilers if your interest, the first batch of stories I've planned will consistently be based on the 13 episodes that the series only provided the time, with an acceptation, of a Prologue on how these stories came to be and how they were told, as well as two original stories I'll be working on, one of which, will be featuring another OC creation of mine named, Rebecca, who I can only say for now, will have develop a certain love interest to one of the main character, for the last episode of Series 1. And from there on, that's all I can safe to say for now, and I hope you can at least appreciate the work I'll put into this written series, with that being said, be on the look out for the Prologue coming soon, as well as Episode 1, and until then, this is TheOCMaker, signing off!
