I Made a Group

I had a conversation with somebody about why I hadn't labelled my story, Infinity Train, as a crossover. My reason was that I thought it would be misleading since there aren't any characters from the Infinity Train show in my story, just MLP characters and OCs, and the majority of crossovers involve characters from both fandoms.

So, the type of crossover that my fic is is called a 'Fusion Crossover' (according to wikipedia) (also I hate having to write 'is is,' darn this language). A fusion crossover is when characters from Fandom A are involved in a story that either employs the plot, concept, or world of Fandom B, but doesn't involve characters from Fandom B.

I hate crossovers.

But I love fusion crossovers.

So I made a group to collect them all in one place!

Anyways, I hope you'll join if this interests you, and submit any stories you've written or have read that are fusion crossovers so we can build up a library of stories in this crossover sub-genre!

Also, if you really like regular crossovers with characters from both fandoms interacting with each other, please don't be offended when I say I hate them. I'm not saying that they're bad, or stupid, nor am I trying to vanquish them, or anything. They just aren't my cup of tea, and it's really hard to tell apart these types of crossover and Fusion crossovers just by looking at how a story is labelled on this site.
