Dragons Race to the Edge Summary (Major Spoilers) · 3:34am Feb 17th, 2018
When I first saw this Netflix series, this show continues to be impress audiences with Thrills, Mystery, Comedy, romances, and finally a thread that connects to the Sequel. There were allies they made during their adventures, meeting new and incredible types of Dragons, The enemies in the series were very relentless and ruthless. The locations had a unique and value to every Flight the Dragon riders rode. The Discoveries are what got me on my seats edge and at the time had me connect theories off every point of senses.
(Be warn this will spoil your fun of watching Race to the Edge. Again Major Spoiler Alert.)
The Beginning and the End of the Flight
The Show first started out with the hunt for Dagger, but when Trader Johann told them he went to a ship graveyard to steal all of his riches. Hiccup and Toothless ventured into a ship named The Reaper. What they found was a new and shocking discovery it needed a Snow Wraith's tooth to unlock this device and once unlocked it showed the Riders uncharted maps and strange marks of a tribe they never heard of nor seen in the Archipelago. The device was later named The Dragon Eye, the eye lead them to new islands that hold secrets and mystery to every dragon that Hiccup never knew. New Dragons were discovered and recorded in notes from Death Songs to King of Dragons. But every discovery had a price. Dagger was not the only villain to roam for there were Dragon hunters led by Viggo Grimborn and Ryker Grimborn. The hunters later joined forces with a mysterious man named Krogan. The riders stopped the hunters from selling and profiting off every Dragon known in the Archipelago, but the hunters later gained the eye and unlocked more secrets, Viggo was later betrayed by his brother and took control of the Shellfire Dragon, but was taken out by a Submaripper, Viggo has shown he can be deceiving and yet hard to get rid of. Krogan used his Intel on the eye when their next assosiate (SPOILER ALERT) Trader Johann came and spoke of a plot to capturing the King of Dragons. With every resources the riders had the hunters later lost to the King of Dragon calling all the dragons to help out. With this win the Riders went home and destroyed the Dragon Eyes, a second one was made to help them and was of great us, with every dragon safe know there was peace. Till Krogan returned to his employer ( SUPER SPOILERS) Drago and Krogan was disposed of, while Drago went to find the next King of Dragons. The egg belonging to the King of Dragon was later placed on a rock and was taken by the one and only Valka. The Story may end there but it was the begining of the next fight yet to come.
The Tribes
Defenders of the Wing - A tribe lead by a Queen Mala, her tribe are dragon worshipers who believe dragons are meant to be respected and never to be miss used. Their village stands underneath a volcano where their Great Guardian, The Eruptodon a titan boulder class, consumes the magma of the mountain to keep the island on a stable plain. When it is time for the Guardian to give way to a new born. The once Guardian fly's to a sacred island only known to dragons go to prepare for the after life will being watch by blind and powerful Sentinels. This island is only known as Vanaheim.
Wingmaiden - This is a unique tribe filled with maidens, who serve under Frya's watch, Their mission is to raise and care for the newborn Razorwhips. Young Razorwhips are born blind and senses are dull, it is said that the newborns wouldn't last long in the wild, They would most likely get eaten by large predators including the adult Razorwhips. The Wingmaidens take flight with the newborns and fly as they were angelic beauties. Their leader Atali speaks of wise wisdom and shares her tales to all maidens who wish to serve their cause.
Dragon Hunters - This tribe has been around for who knows but they did craft a strange tool to assist them in hunting dragons. They sell dragons dead or alive, and would make good profit off any species mostly very rare dragons. Their leaders may be brothers but family has a price to pay in the ranks. Even the most intelligent Viggo would not allow such deception in his hunts. Ryker was strong but wasnt able to fend of a submaripper. The hunters may be disbanded but perhaps some day Drago will call forth for them once again.
The show was amazing i would absolutely recommend watching this series. Know that its over, hopefully in the future we will see the Third movie of the Dragons and maybe see a Hiccsrid baby. Can't wait.
