We Need To Talk About This

For anyone who hasn't heard about this, a popular brony analyst has been caught in a compromising situation, and by compromising I mean "grooming a middle-school age girl into sexually explicit RPs" compromising.

The creep's name is ToonKriticY2k. He was apparently quite active on Youtube. I haven't seen any of his stuff (in fact I hadn't even heard his name until today) but what I am hearing is making me sick. Youtuber Vida has a vide on the situation that you can view for yourself here.

With everything we see in Hollywood nowadays with sexual abuse and other assorted filth, it's important to talk about this. Sure, this guy is getting reamed over the coals now, but that's because it's now in the open and everyone can see it. But, I have to ask, how many knew that stuff like this was going on and said nothing about it to protect their pal? It happens more often than you think and this fandom is not immune to it.

I'm not writing this to condemn anyone or trash the fandom, but I think horrible situations like this are a reminder that we need to be on the lookout for the stink of the bad eggs. Let's face it, bronies do not have a very good reputation on the Internet, and anyone honest will admit that. Stuff like this just drags us down further. We need to work hard to expose it, sooner rather than later.

My prayers are with the victims of this cretin and all others who are being affected by this. I hope things work out for the best.
