All day today I was working on a project for school. Just apart of it, right? Nope. There are two kinds of people in this world: people who do all the work and people who barely do any and just freeload. I was the former and my partner (who I'll just call Missy) was the latter.
The three days we had to do the project, Missy barely did anything! First day, she had been gone, but that's ok cuz we were given the project that day. Second day, any work she did just sucked and was half-assed. Third day, our class had a sub on Friday, so while some people were out in the hall work–us included– the sub was mostly watching the other kids inside the classroom. AND MISSY WAS JUST TALKING TO HER FRIENDS!!! PLUS I HEARD THEM BAD MOUTH ONE OF MY BESTIES WHEN THEY THOUGHT I WASNT LISTENING!!!! I JUST WANT TO PUNCH HER IN THE FACE!!!!!!!! ...sorry.. anyways I'm kinda a perfectionist with these things and she had the NERVE to say "you know it doesn't have to be perfect" while she was 'coloring' in the clothes on the person. Really it was just a big scribble (Which I had to fix today).
When time ran out I quickly volunteered to take it home to finish it. I would hate to see what it would've looked like if I didn't. So that left me working my butt off the ENTIRE DAY today to finish it.
Sorry for my rant. It just REALLY pissed me off! Feels good to vent......

It can be that way in the working world, to Astra. Just remember, if you are doing the right thing else will take care of itself. Stay true to you and do your best. Also, punching her might seem like a good solution but it will only get you in trouble and won't solve the problem. You can't control other people or situations but you can control how you react to and deal with them. It's not always easy to do the right thing. It is the best way though and will be the best for you. Good luck!
