My creative spark has been unleashed it seems.

To those that have followed me I wish to thank you.
I have decided to take my first step at a story for MLP.
I need to finish the first chapter (already at 1500+ words and counting) and find an editor but first I wanted to ask a question.

In this story, I am starting off with an action based first chapter that lets the character begin to use and adapt to his newly discovered power while revealing who, what, when, were, why as the action and battle unfolds. My plan is to reveal the prologue to his situation during this first arc. The question is: Is this a good way to start a story?
