Hey guys! Hope your New Year's was fun. I hung out with my brother and drank a bit, but didn't do much for New Year's. The big thing we had planned need was a trip of the "kids" in the family (youngest being 20) all going to Colorado to ski!
I have never skied before so I was definitely nervous about it. We go to the top of what we though was the bunny hill (and we we're wrong) and I said "well, no time like the present!" While singing g Trixie's band's song from Rainbow Rocks I started to go down the hill.
I started picking up speed and felt like I was going too fast. I remember thinking that if somepony y got in my way, I would be unable to steer or stop. So I tried slowing down the way you're taught, but it wasn't working. I then tried to intentionally fall and just land on my butt, but my left ski got caught on something. I ended up flipping over my left ski and my leg started to hurt bad enough that I began screaming. Some how, I knew from the beginning that my leg was broken. I ended up snapping my femur (the biggest bone in your body) cleanly in half. They had to do surgery to put a pole in there keeping it in placey.
Because I'm probably going to be stuck here till Saturday, I can hopefully finish chapter 2.
Love ya guys! I let know about chapter 1 when I know.
