Fully fleshed out fiction rarely enters my head. But I do get... random, unrelated vignettes. I'll try posting them, and you are free to do with them whatever you'd like.
Vignette #1: Frustration burns in Twilight's cheeks, and Rarity laughs like summer—not unkind. "Oh darling, you may be a genius, but there's no surrogate for practice."
Vignette #2: "...Patron saints alive, you have a wife?" Trusty Scabbard's eyebrows manage to both furrow and raise. "I'd never have pegged you for the kind of stallion who'd settle down."
Lightning Dust grunts noncommittally.
Vignette #3: Her ethereal mane stagnates behind her as she looks down at her painfully eager charge, and she wonders distantly if Celestia had ever felt the same way with her. "...I can't tell you," Twilight says finally. "It's something you'll have to learn yourself."
Vignette #4: "Typical. The honeymoon period is over, so of course it's back to torches and pitchforks," Discord sniffs indignantly. "I'll never understand what you ponies find so distasteful about [insert condition here]."
