    I'm...alive?

Oh my god, I cannot begin to tell you how happy and relieved I am to have finally pushed out the latest chapter of "Sweetie Hell." The break was due in large part to having written myself into a corner that I just couldn't get out of. I would often jump online, read what I had written down to where I stopped, put fingers to keyboard ready to start writing...and...bupkis. I would change one or two

    Hey, Another Non-Story Update

My apologies for taking so bloody long to push out the next and final chapter of "Sweetie Hell," but make no mistake I am working on it...in my own infuriatingly laborious way. My drive to write comes in brief fits-and-spurts, I often get distracted by games and other obligations of varying import, but most of all I am trying my damndest to write Lucifer exactly perfectly. I imagine him being

    Update (not THAT kind, though)

So here's the skinny: I have not died, quit the site, abandoned the story, fallen through a time slip, etc. I'm still around, and I'm still working on Sweetie Hell and the other story I've got in the works, albeit very slowly. My will to write and ideas for exactly what to write come and go in short-lived fits and spurts. Part of that was due largely to being distracted with "God of

    Goodness Gracious Golly Gee

Son of ass, I did not realize it has been two months since my last update for Sweetie Hell. I've just been so busy with work/social obligations and keeping up with my vidya games that the story all but slipped completely from memory. Anyway, my sincerest apologies for my tardiness, and new chapter is up. Enjoy, lads and ladies!

    The Status of Chapter 8

Okay, so here's the skinny. Chapter eight of Sweetie Hell is finished (about bloody time, right?). As it stands, it's kind of a short one. The problem I'm facing is whether I should keep writing until all of Fraud is covered in one big chapter (for those who don't know, there are ten divisions in the Circle of Fraud) like I did for Violence, or if I should do like I was originally thinking

Hey, it's an update, but not in the way that you readers were likely hoping for. Getting straight to the point, I've been experiencing tremendous difficulty writing the next chapter of "Sweetie Hell." It's a combination of writer's block, interference from video games (Deus Ex: Mankind Divided especially), and just straight-up not having the desire to write. I've made a little progress here and there, but the pace is frustratingly slow. Every time I see that I'm not finished yet aggravates me, and I know how annoyed you guys must be waiting for me to post the next chapter (as a follower of multiple stories myself which haven't seen updates in ages *grumble* *grouse* *grumble*). It could be that I need to set aside some time to read a book, since it was while reading that the majority of "Sweetie Hell" was written, and it could be just the thing to get my imagination going again. Or it could also be that I've just exhausted myself with this story for the time being and made myself sick of looking at it. That would mean the best solution would be to write something else for a while, which I think is exactly what I will do. Luckily, I've got multiple candidates that I think would be great to fill the void...except for the Scootaloo story I mentioned in a previous blog post. That one was a bust, and I've since deleted it.

So in conclusion, "Sweetie Hell" is stuck but by no means dead. I just need something fresh to play with for a while until I get the spark back to finish the story. In the meantime I hope you guys enjoy my coming works as much as you've enjoyed "Sweetie Hell."

:derpytongue2:🍗 because why not?
