Writers block

I have been poundering my head up and down, left and right,...

thinking of a story that readers might be able to enjoy.
I have thought about writing a story about Princess Celestia and what it might be like to be a Princess in Equestria.

However, stories like that are all too exaggerated in the media these days. It feels just WAY too generic to be interesting.

Perhaps there could be another subject to write about?

Something that could have readers coming back for more later on when new Chapters arise?
Or Perhaps adding some characters that most readers might not expect to see? Such as Daring Do confronting Princess Celestia about her latest adventure and how it lead her to Celestia?
