My Alicorn OC, Lady Adellandra

Hello there!
My name is Lady Adellandra and I'm the author of the "Chronicles of the Dragon Nations" series of books. I'm also an avid Pony fan since the 80s. I've been watching everything I can get my hands on that has to do with the current MLP. So far, I'm loving it to bits, and I can say I'm a proud Pegasister! I have EQD bookmarked as well as the Brony side of I Can Haz Cheezeburger (or however you spell it). For a while, I've been thinking on making an OC of my own. I know the fandom doesn't like Alicorns, but she's different. She's not just another pretty pretty Alicorn pony. I wished I could draw her, but until yesterday, I couldn't 'see' her in my mind. Now that I can, I've changed most Avatars to her instead of the Silver-haired Battle Goddess I usually have.

I've also broken down and decided to have a backstory for her. Here it goes! This is my first try at a FimFiction, or a Fan Fiction, period, so I'm kind of rusty. I usually have my own work I write, which you can find on Amazon.com

I was curious when I went on EQD (Equestria Daily, an MLP:FiM (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic) site with all the news. I saw the Pony Designer and made one of my own. I did this before, but wasn't sure I liked her, so here's the new one:

She is a Dragon-Pony Alicorn with Dragon wings and a Unicorn horn. Usually, her hair is silver and violet, flowing like Princesses Celestia and Luna's.

She came through a portal (as all my namesake OCs do) to Ponyville with a Mystic secret. No shapeshifting, of course, but her normally-unlimited magic is limited to what Alicorns can do. Her special attribute is herself being a long-ago born Goddess of the Light. (My Ai'sha character.) Loves knowledge and books, like my favorite Alicorn, Princess Twilight Sparkle.

For those who don't know about the Mystic Eye (the cutie-mark and the picture to the right), In "Chronicles of the Dragon Nations", Lady Guardian of the Mystic Realms is a Mystic in the Mortal Realm, another incarnation after the Goddess Ai'sha and the Empress, Lady Adellandra. The eyes of silver-blue designates those of the regular Mystic families. The colors surrounding the Eye (called the "Magical Eye") represent the different colors of their magic. Fortunately for them, Young Guardian Ariana her twin, the Grand Magus Aluna and younger brother, Knight Wizard Jonathan are Ancient Mystics, as their stories are as follows.

Years ago, Lord Guardian O'Dell foresaw his death in the Dream Realms' Sphere. He sought a successor, one that would, in time, be strong enough to defeat his evil brother, Orthos. He saw the Empress of the Dragon Nations in his Sphere, and an opportunity to be repaid a debt owed to him by the Countess of the Dragon Nations, Dracora Dratianos. He fled to her part of the Nations, Monarch's Glenn and told her what he Saw and needed her to do. Find the three Dranna siblings, the Empress, Adellandra, the Baroness of Mek'anar Adarra, and their younger brother, Sir Anton Dranna and bring them to the Mystic's Realm of Dreams, to the Palace of the Mystic Sisters, Enchantra and Chandra.

Once the three Drannas were gathered, Enchantra, Chandra, Lord Guardian and their granddaughter Susan Woods called a Blood Spell. Their usual DragonWolf forms disappeared, leaving only the Immortal. Adarra was renamed Aluna Star, Sir Anton was renamed Jonathan Gregory, and Lord Guardian's successor, the Young Guardian-to-be, was renamed Ariana Moon. Their adult forms shrunk until Jonathan was a babe and the twins were five summers old.

From there, they were separated: Jonathan would go to Susan to be raised away from fighting and wars with her Great-Uncle Orthos. Adarra would go to Susan's mother, Enchantra's daughter Dixilynne Ryan to be raised as an Ancient Mystic, openly learning her magic. As for Ariana Moon, his soon-to-be-Successor, would go to an orphanage, forever hiding her magic from those around her. They would be the only Ancient Mystics in the Mortal Realm, more powerful than their Mystic families.

In time, Ariana Moon would be the Young Guardian, a protector of Dreamers around the Realms.
Aluna Star would be a powerful Ancient Mystic, with her title of Grand Magus, as she is capable of learning any world or Realm magic with ease after a few short self-taught lessons.
Jonathan Gregory would grow up in a loving home, soon seeing for himself how he can help fight against evil foes of every variety. He would become the twins' Knight-Wizard brother.

It would be an entire generation before their story is told and they're able to return to the Dragon Nations as DragonWolves. In the meantime, they would fight evil against all odds and a powerful force to be reckoned with.
