Character work for first fic in years · 8:06am Jul 15th, 2017

Hey folks, it has been a buisy year but I finally have some time to stop and blog.

This Summer I have been conceptualizing several Original Characters and Original Species to feature in my first fic to submit on Fimfiction. The first species is a fictional Tyrannosaurid decendant that will have its name announced later on, along with 2 fictional Ceratopsids, Pterasaurs, Sauropods and a branching evolutionary line of the aforementioned tyrannosaur that will be featured. Plus 3 equine oc's to be added in as well, though how major a role they will be given has yet to be decided.

The story will begin with the KT-Event and fast forward to approximately 1,025 years before the series storyline. Here we will meet my main Character's ancestors, one of whom will be given an interesting role in Equestria's early age of discovery and lay the groundwork for another oc later on. This will also be a main start for the differenciation to AU.

All I am going to say about my Tyrannosaurid line is that they are going to be a fictional decendant of the Guanlong, that survived downsized and upscaled in co-evolution along side the Eohippus (equine ancestor) well into the medieval times of Equestria's history. The dino will be capable of speach as his ancestry took mimicing sound (like parrots and some ravens) and built up on it to forming their own languistic system. This one will be raised amongst ponies and thus will be less inclined to act upon base instinct, but will still feel some baser impulses, such as scent tracking, voicing displesure in loud vocalizations and a very strong homing instinct. As to whom will raise what may prove to be the bigget case of "lion out of the jungle", all i can say is NO SPOILERS.

Also, characters from the main continuity will remain true to the show, but some lessons from season 2 may change with the addition of aforementioned prehistoric company.

Till next time
